One of many things AC never disappoints me. The soundtrack.

What I love about Egyptian history is that it is so old, like when Bayek mentioned the old kingdom and old pharaos, I realized that there already was a great history when Bayek was alive

I'm so attached to Bayek and his story. A feeling I haven't felt in an Assassin Creed game in awhile!

this game was such a full package. Music, setting, atmosphere, progression, no paywalls, just a chill gaming experience.

The start: Khemu: I don't want to go home alone. I am scared.
Bayek: KHEMU, JUST GO!
The end: Kid: I do not want to go home by myself. I am scared.
Bayek: I will take you home.

I grew up with AC. Played the very first back then. Played the glorious Story of Ezio always with the collecting editions with goodies n shit. Now. This. Origins. Will forever have a very special place in my heart. I got sucked into ancient egypt. I loved it. Absolutely. I don't care what anybody says about this or future games. Riding through the Desert too long, then suddenly seeing illusions (creepy ones too!).. Goosebumps... Entering ancient pyramids and tombs... And then there's this heartbreaking story we AC Fans never thought to be topped after Ezio. But there we were. Everytime I listen to this theme I get thrown back to my first playthroug, and how "free of sorrows" I was while playing this. Laugh at me in real life all you want people, this is what gives me Joy, this is why I'm not giving in. To experience ancient worlds, fascinating storys, that let me forget troubles and sorrow. Thank you Assassins Creed. Thank you very much. ~~ Work in the Dark, to serve the Light ~~ Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

Edit 12/18/2020: Thanks for all the likes and kind hearted replys! I 've read them all :D I hope you find yourselves in a healthy manner and enjoy Valhalla! Don't give up, especially not in 2021 :) Life's hitting hard but ya'll can keep gettin' up and movin' forward! A happy holiday, as happy as you can have it, and a happy and healthy new year 2021. Meet ya'll somewhere one day :) Much love!

Fun fact. When Bayek was alive, the pyramids were already so old, that Bayek was actually closer to us today than he was to their construction.

Sarah is a gifted musician. Now after completing the game, I listen to this theme and came to realize that it beautifully represents the heart wrenching journey and transformation of a simple man from a small village who pledged to be the protector of the people, but upon losing his family, and witnessing evil and corruption spread his beloved land, is forced to leave behind his former life, and take an oath to fight evil and oppression from the shadows so that no one else has to go through the pains of losing their loved ones. This musical piece is an epic embodiment of the story of probably the strongest protagonist in the AC universe, that is, a Medjay of Egypt, the one and only, Bayek of Siwa.

I played the game before going to Egypt. Once there I couldn't stop listening to this tune within my head. It was magical because being around watching all those ruins made me think. "Bayek was here thousands of years ago" it's like time traveling. Couldn't help but feel a bit of nostalgia. Thanks You Ubi for this

Khemu: "I'm going to find every stone circle. The Sphinx and the Pyramids too! And, I'll find my place."
...
Bayek: "My son. Your name Khemu means Egypt. Like Egypt, you have forever changed. The stars are yours now, and your place is with them."

Is it weird that I'm nostalgic for a game not even 3 years old?

This piece really pushes the idea that the land you are walking through is old and majestic. Its powerful, makes you think about the long history of the mountains or the Nile.
