1611 King James Bible replica at WalMart for $5

This is a better than my Hendrickson replica that cost $35. More than likely, this will only be available during the Easter season and certainly only this year seeing this is the 400th Anniversary Edition of the King James Bible.

There are two kinds of 1611 KJB editions being printed:

1. Copies of an Oxford print made in 1611 in roman type (the common sort).

2. Actual scans of actual 1611 editions (the new one from 2011).

Yes, every time I pick up a Zondervan printed King James Bible I look at Genesis 1:2 and notice they don't capitalize the "S" on Spirit of God.

They do say that it is done in Roman type. I prefer the actual facsimile myself. I have other Bibles (Tyndale's NT, Matthew's Bible, and Geneva Bible) by Hendrickson and they are all actual facsimiles and good quality..

So I'm curious... are you a KJV-only advocate? What you said about the Apocrypha led me to believe that.

I got the Hendrickson one back in 2005 for $15 at a re-enactment, but I really prefer the $5 one I got at Walmart last year.

I bought this book around the same time. I like it but recently I found who owns Zondervan and the errors they make with the KJV. I took a moment to look through the books in this bible and I found an error in the book of Micah. Micah chapter 4 is labeled Jonah then bounce back to Micah on the next page.
