Such reprints may maintain the ancient spellings, but they do not LOOK exactly the same as an original 1611.

1611 Spelling Examples

We’ll also notice the absence, or at least, the ambiguity of the letter "J", in that the names of "Jesus" and “John” are spelled "Iesus" and “Iohn” in John Chapter 1 and throughout the New Testament. These are subtle, but historically accurate details and signs that this is an original 1611 Facsimile, and merely "scratch the surface" of the treasures and distinctions to be found in this collector's edition 1611 King James Bible - Regular Facsimile.

I ordered this a few months ago. All I can say is this if you're a KJV person. If you're reading verses you are not familiar with, it can be painful to read. However, if you're familiar with the verses you're reading, it becomes a fascinating read with a huge wow! factor.

Are the introductory pages ordered differently between the Regular and Deluxe Editions? I see that, in this Regular Edition, just before page 1 of Genesis, is the genealogies; while in the Deluxe Edition, the hand drawn maps lead into Genesis. Are the maps missing from the Regular Edition? Why is there a variation?

This is a beautiful bible offered at an attractive price as well. The only thing is that the front and back covers are really plain. Do you offer embossment/engraving services? I would like to have the words Holy Bible added to the front cover. Is that possible?
