The number of times my mind was absolutely blown near the ending of Hero of Ages is still one of my favorite reading experiences ever!

Hey man! 😄 As per your request: I'm the one who submitted "Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell" as my number 1! 😋 And thank you for your words, it means a lot! 😃💙📚 I'm also 1 of the 2 that submitted "Sixth of the Dusk" to the list, as well 😋

I love both of these stories because of their darker tones, and me being a dark fantasy author, they fit me like a glove (or a pair of gloves, rather 😂)! And I personally classify both "Shadows [...]" and "Sixth of the Dusk" as dark fantasy, which may explain my affinity to them. 😊

I'm actually releasing a fantasy reading vlog next thursday in which I talk about both of these books, as well as one of your favorite short stories/novellas 😉

Shadows for silence is extremely underrated. It’s Sanderson at his best.

Do most people like Mistborn more than Hero of Ages!? I just read through Era 1 and while I love the more personal nature of Mistborn, Hero of Ages blew my socks off! Hero is my fav for sure
