I think we can all agree that Chihuahuas are the cutest dogs in the world. These tiny dogs have won the hearts of millions over the last few thousand years or longer depending on who you ask.

Chihuahuas have a larger than life personality, that often gets them into serious trouble. If you have ever owned one of these dogs or know someone that has, you are probably aware that they can bite.

While their bite can be tiny, it can also really hurt and could cause serious damage! Today we are going to take a deeper look at why Chihuahuas have a tendency to bite and what you can do to curb this annoying habit.

My chihuahua, Axel tries to bite me when I put his collar on him, when I'm trying to bathe him . He's an active 14 month old deer head chihuahua.

Ive had many breeds and got a chihuahua recently.
He's so draining
Bites and knows no chill
Constant attention seeking wouldn't mind if he relaxed but no
I take him outside to run
And still doesn't relax
Poos outside inside there's no normal behaviour
I don't recommend this breed

I have a dog that’s a Chihuahua and he’s a boy and he’s 6 weeks old he keeps biting me and doesn’t stop biting me and keeps barking and growling. I don’t know what’s wrong he keeps biting me if I put him on he’s belly he just keeps biting me. I don’t know what to do anymore I just put him in the living room and let him sit there to learn he’s lesson but he does the same thing just whine.. tell me what I’m doing wrong :( he also but my finger, armpit, and my legs and arms it hurts so bad I don’t know what to do..

We got another chihuahua when she was eight weeks old, she’s now 16 weeks. We got her for our 9 year old chihuahua that’s the sweetest little baby you’ve ever seen. I’ve had her before she was 5 weeks old. Anyways, the new chi is a nightmare! She only has 2 gears, sweet, lubby, then the other is nipping at my left arm and she about ripped my left little toe off. I know she’s teething, and she doesn’t do it out of aggression. My older chi, barks when I go to get her out of her very large bathroom to put her in bed. I’ll try your suggestions. I need help to try to get my older one to like her sister. Btw, I tried to get the free ebook, it’s not free, it’s $49.00

My chihuahua is untrained and bites whenever i move my arm towards him/go to pat him. I often avoid him because of this. He also attacks when he has a bone. He’s lunged towards my other chihuahua for a bone as well. He’s been like this sense day 1, can someone please give me advice?

My Male Chuauaha, has bitten me in the face twice. The first time it happened I was devastated, however, me and Loki ar extremely bonded, he loves me, he worships me, and I him.. I don't really know why he does it. But, I don't speak Chuauaha. All I know is he does love me deeply and I love him deeply and sometimes without warning he will seriously with intent bite me in the face.

I don't know how to truly make him not do that, All I know, I'm his whole world and he's mine, and every once and a while I'll get bit.. its just the way it is..

I ty for giving me something to try. My chihuahua was put in our bed immediately. Lays on her back, snuggles and snores
She's 14 weeks old, trained, does high 5, goes to bed, sits, lays down etc with just signals. After her nap, bathroom break and eats, she bites like crazy. Ankles, feet trying to rip blanket off my lap etc. She turns into a nightmare. So nasty, then will sleep and cuddle like crazy. I think she's schizophrenic myself lol. Any help. She can be brutal. Made me bleed yesterday. Held on until I flung her.I was going to put a cute pink shirt i found. I spoil her and it hurt me more than me bleeding and bandaged hand. Yes she works out on fetch and runs through a large field. Just in case you say she needs exercise. I'll try anything. Ty....HELP!

…well not exactly 😂 our 7.4 lb applehead rescue will go after anything with fur. bull mastiff, great dane, you name it. she even bit a pit bull in the snout off his leash (fortunately PB was surprisingly docile and perhaps stunned). good news is she likes people, anyone and everyone

My three-year-old Chihuahua has been biting me every since it turned a year and it is unsocial. She wants to sit near me or on me, but she does not allow me to touch her. She will bite me hard. So far it's only my toes and fingers.
