I have 3 girls - 20, 18 & 7. I thought for sure, my 7 year old was a boy. I was so sad she was a girl, as I knew she would be my last. That sadness didn’t last long, she was perfect, healthy & exactly what we needed. Always remember, God blesses us with what need in our lives & His plans for us are always perfect & far greater than anything we can imagine for ourselves. Lifting you & your beautiful family up.

All kids are a blessing just because people always never accept someone’s blessing instead point out were you haven’t yet achieved to make you feel down, I know many women who even wish at least they get just one biological child no matter of the sex.

I thought I would have girls - only ever imagined raising girls but I was blessed with 2 boys - 32 and 30 years ago!! They are my life’s work, my life purpose and the source of unconditional love and blessings. I don’t look to them to fulfill me or define me as a person but in them I find myself, my center and simple joys. Through them I find depths of strength I never knew I had and I will always be there for them. One thing I found out - Boys love their mommies and then at about age 7 they begin to need their daddy more and then as teenagers they need other good role models like a young uncle or older cousin to look up to. Somehow a mother’s influence remains a steadfast beacon of light they can always rely on. Keep it pure, honest, simple, fun and true. Boys are a blessing. Enjoy your sons and their chosen partners one day! ❤
