HOW FAST is the FMS Miss America Reno Racer?

I'm a drone pilot, but I easily transferred my drone flying skills to RC Planes. In this episode I go full throttle on the FMS Miss America P51D Mustang Reno Racer and it definitely hauls some balls to the walls factor!

I am so sorry for your loss friend. I lost my mom and 2 sisters all within a year.. My two sisters were within a couple of days of each other. I would have never gotten through it if it weren’t for my drones and flying. Good to know I am not alone. Thanks for all that you do

All of those RC planes are modeled after famous racers from the Reno Air Races. I think all of them have been winners in the unlimited class at Reno at one time or another. They are *very* fast planes, probably some of the fastest propeller driven planes, and some quite beautiful too.

I had a control line version of Miss America, for either my birthday, or Christmas, when I was a young lad. It had a small Cox glow engine. Unfortunately, my dad flew it first and crashed it, so I never got to fly it. C'est la vie. Thank you Steve. Miss America, is still a very cool Mustang. 😁

Try with 5s 2200mah. Give it a full blast. My friend did it and we had a drag race with my freewing F5 80mm EDF, he won.

Super fun! What would you say the wind speed cutoff for flying one of these is? For instance, I try not to fly a mini drone in speeds above 15 mph. Not sure what that is in KPH.
