Do you know, the more I see of iPad OS 16 running on a M series iPad Pro, the more this operating system feels like a complete joke that cripples what could be the best tablet PC. Imagine a M2 processor in a Microsoft Surface Pro! That's what an iPad Pro should be, a full-blown computer, which can perform any modern pro computing task you throw at it, and not an incapacitated oversized iPhone only able to run smart phone apps!

On device Stage manager has been a delight to use on the M1 iPad Pro 12.9. I haven’t switched it off yet.
Def looking forward to external display support.

Make no sense. The a15 has the same gpu cores than a12x/z so why no stage manager?

I would like on iOS17 the iPad dock option to change and orientate the dock to the left or the right and i would like to see finder on iPad, files is great but it is not finder, stage manager with resizable multitouch windows is fine but there isn’t much you can do with it, besides stacking up apps or files into small windows, what about mobile apps blown up into useable desktop app?

If there’s no monitor support in the next update I will sell my IPad Pro M1 right away and switch to tab s8 ultra. I will not wait 2 years just for external monitor support that should to be available from the FIRST IPAD PRO from 2018! 😤

Not looking forward to upgrading to an M2 IPAD PRO without External Monitor Support. At the moment ‘its just an IPAD’. There is nothing to differentiate a PRO with a non-Pro.

I ve tryed to update to 16.1 Beta as I have a Dev account. After the update most of the apps didn t work, thy seams to load from the appstore like after a restore but they dod not load...and the AppStore also did not work. Had to restore to 16.0.2... Did someone have the same experience?

I wish I get volume on Now playing on Lock screen back like IOS 15, So i don’t need to go to Control center to control volume that’s annoying me 😢
