It's a cutlassfish, but oarfish and cutlass fish do look similar.

The only reason I know it's an oarfish is because of fish

It’s definitely not an oar fish. If this was an oar fish it would perish from being at the surface. These fish live insanely deep in the ocean and at night they do come up from the deep at night, but still seldom close to the surface. An oar fish would have to stop at multiple intervals and stay there for prolonged periods of time in order to decompress.

I didn't know that's oarfish I was a kid I use to eat that thing like on the side of ocean it's long like white my mom use that to make a pinacsho like a filifino food
