Aquaphor’s healing ointment for babies works WONDERFULLY on dry, cracked lips. Better than any lip balm I’ve ever tried. Cracked to smooth, soft lips in a short period of time. Yep, it’s the petroleum jelly.

Its totally different skin and very thin.

Its not fancy but petroleum jelly is the best for ultra chapped lips! Never fails me if they get that bad

I use bee's wax for chapped lips that along with a petroleum lip balm usually does it at bedtime ( in my 70s)

Lip Srubs are GREAT!!! My Lips look sooo Juicy! I use Vaseline on them as a NighTime Mask, I use a Lip Scrub everyday! The Lip Scrub I absolutely LOVE, "and I have used A LOT of them, I have used High End to Cheap one's, I've even spent $50.00 on a Lip Scrub before 😂" I Love the Wet N Wild Watermelon 🍉 Lip Scrub! 💋 It is gentle enough to use DAILY, I use it in the Shower and wash it off! It also tastes soooo good too, so that's a Bouns! I use prescription Tretinoin Cream at the highest strength 0.01%, and I Exfoliant MY FACE everyday or every other Day! I NEVER have dry peeling Skin, like A LOT of People do that use prescription Tretinoin Cream! And it IS because I EXFOLIANT ALL THE TIME! And NO MY Skin Barrier is not damaged at ALL! My Skin feels super soft and it's NOT Irritated at ALL!!! But I have a 12# step Morning Skincare Routine, 13# steps if you count my sunscreen! I have a 10# step Night time routine as well! But SUNSCREEN is a MUST EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S JULY OR JANUARY YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO WEAR SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR!!! I use A LOT of calming Serums and Toners and Essences in my Routines! Skin Flooding is a MUST if you use prescription Tretinoin Cream!!! I understand She is going to tell People to not Exfoliant, but She isn't always right! Everyone's skin is different!

I am very prone to perioral dermatitis flares, and every chapped lips treatment seems to trigger it!! Thick ointments, Vaseline, topical steroids of any kind, really anything besides light moisturizer triggers it. I’ll get rid of the chapped lips and be dealing with a POD flare for 3 weeks often requiring oral antibiotics. Any advice for POD people when they get chapped lips?

I accidentally bit off the hardend flakes, and my lips started bleeding terrible. My mom grabbed the petroleum jelly- and wow! Tastes gross, but healed my lips 😂

Carmex is the one to go to..
Like in November -december my lips looked like frosted glazed donuts 😢 horrible, yes I was peeling it, and ouch! I got to blister instead
I started to use all lips balm and nothing.
So I started with normal Cocoa oils then the yellow lipstick from carmex medicated one in 3day my lips were back to normal
