How to Force Delete Locked Files - Windows 10

How to force delete locked files on Windows 10 by using the free program UNLOCKER.

Sometimes when you try to delete a file or folder on Windows you will get an error saying that it can't be deleted.

Instead of going to Command Prompt an easier way is to use the free program Unlocker.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PROGRAM!

Unlocker will delete anything, so only use it on files or folders that you know you want to delete. Never delete anything you are unsure of!

Now, you will no longer have problems getting rid of files that won't delete.

If you experience issues like this u don't necessarily have to download something like this. If Windows says it's open then it must be. I had the same problem and I was like "nah there is probably a way around it" and I found it. You just simply have to go to task manager and at "processess" you have to find the files that windows says it's opened and just right click and press "end task". If u want to know the name of the file, you should first open the folder in which the file is stored and delete anything you can one by one. The things you can't delete can be deleted the way I said earlier.
