Good for Shania. Too often Dwight has been underrated and not promoted enough. His songs are up there with the best and timeless. The way country music is promoted in the States and radio is shameful. Too many inferior artists are promoted when a real musician is overlooked.

Dwight is awesome, at 68 he still can give a powerful performance. He’s nothing like Waylon, Willie and the boys. Dwight is a T- Totaler he’s lived a good clean life, I’m so happy for him to be married now to Emily and they have a son. Ive followed him 30 years, never left a show disappointed. In my opinion Dwight Yoakum is one of the most talented and most under appreciated and attended artists/performers in the music industries. He has about 5 distinct voices if you know his music. He can sing like Elvis, Buck, Waylon and Merle all on the same album. His songwriting is pure poetry. Just listen to 'The Heart That You Own' for example. He's a genius. I miss him and hope he finds his way back to writing and performing again if thats what he chooses and what would make him happy. Thank you for pointing out just how so very incredible Dwight is and how blessed we are to be alive at the same time as him. ❤
