🤩 great info my photography teacher also told us to look at the histogram but never explained why or how we should use it

You could use up a lot of time testing and shooting to get it right, so much time your client will think you don't know what you are doing and then walk off which equals bad word of mouth. Judging by the samples, the lighter one looks better even though the histogram says "no". The 2nd one looks too dark even though this histogram says "yes". I say quit using up your client's time by shoot, look, shoot, look, etc..takes too much time. I've had clients love the shots the histogram says "no" to, the client is more important to satisfy anyway.
