I think there will still be a place for mass transit. You can move a massive amount of people rapidly on a subway or train. No traffic to slow things down. Super efficient energy wise and can all be electrified. Pretty hard to beat that by piling more vehicles on clogged roads. I'm all for robotaxi and am a Tesla investor but I think there will also be a place for public transit.

Tarred roads are more expensive to replace than track costs... but I like electric transport to the door idea.

The emptying of the delivery yards such as giga Texas and Shanghai tells me juniper is coming sooner than later

@15:50 *Italy* has some seriously picturesque locations on both coasts and in the central mountains.
From *Sicily* to the *Alps* and from *Piedmont* to *Fiuli* it has some seriously beautiful countryside.

Might come sooner than we think but what will it be priced at? Shanghai has stopped their Y production and inventory lots are empty. So price it the same as the old Y then drop prices mid or late 2025? It's cost structure should be lower but Tesla may want to ride the wave a bit.

Love the Bruce Lee reference but he was the king of efficiency that was the reason for his speed blinding speed

17:45 To provide some perspective as to why unions are a good idea even when the majority of workers are happy without them: IBM has been non-union for decades. In the 1980's, IBM employees were totally okay with that because they enjoyed a similar quality of life to what Tesla employees have now. Flash forward to the 21st Century, and IBM has transitioned many full-time employees to "consultant" status. This means they no longer have benefits, they are now 1099 employees instead of W-2 employees and are therefore fully responsible for their own medicare taxes.

This is my last comment I promise but seriously I need to tell you something it is possible to make a solar cell that would fit on the roof of a Tesla that would be powerful enough to give it a decent charge while you're parked this is not a conspiracy theory please do your history homework.

On first native NACS charge port on Ioniq 5 "its just a chargeport!". NO, it is definitely NOT just a chargeport. Remember that CCS has dedicated ports for AC and DC charging, while NACS does not. That requires an additional charging "sentinel" that queries the attached charger if it is an AC oder DC one, and requires additional contactors to interrupt the line from NACS chargeport to the AC-onbord charger, and switches the normal charging controller to DC-fast charging protocol with the existing DC-fast charging contactors, when connected to a supercharger. When this additional sentinel fails, a vehicle fire will ensue, as demonstrated some years ago by a Tesla Model S catching fire at a Supercharger in Sweden or Norway, where the only possible cause found by the post-mortem analysis was a failure of the AC-interruption contactors to open.
So every car that is moved to a native NACS chargeport needs a considerable hard- and software upgrade to the direct vicinity of the chargeport and AC-onboard charger, with re-wiring also required. And add to that a whole new layer of funcitional safety requirements on top! So definitely not "just a chargeport".

Please stopp mocking non-Tesla shortcomings, especially when the technical or legal depth of the issue at hand may not be 100% clear to you 🥺 Happy New Year, by the way 😁
