Ali-A Has Fallen Toward Irrelevancy (Fortnite)

Fortnite wouldn't be the same without Ali-A, but one thing is for certain - There hasn't seemed to be a more controversial figure in the YouTube Gaming Community. Is he hated because his Fortnite Battle Royale videos simply get more views than everyone else? Is it because of his inauthentic persona? The clickbait? This video will cover Ali-A's downfall / rise and fall / drop in viewership over the last two years. Will he end up as an irrelevant creator?

Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2 XO ❤

I can just hear his intro rippling through my brain from his thumbnail and name. So sad that clickbait took a man of our childhood

I remember watching him when he did his Pokemon Go series. Haven't watched him in years now.

I used to love his COD Zombies content, it's a shame to see how far his content has fallen since then

The persona shift is extremely accurate. I used to watch Ali A as a kid back in 2011 when he was covering the black ops series. He was always very calm and collected when he spoke and even when he was genuinely excited there was still the aire of composure and professionalism- like he's talking to adults and teenager. I hadn't watched him since 2014 but after hearing clips of his new video, the shift is jarring. He's speaking like his audience are 7-12. Now he's mimicking the intros of most weird YouTubers like "heyeverybody GOinG oN???"

It’s kinda sad because he used to be a decent content creator and meme

clickbait is the very unfortunate downside of youtube culture now days. Making something more clickable is understandable but when thumbnails are straight up lying that's when it's too far imo. Every single Fortnite creator is at an all time low right now and gaming in general is just super stale. on top of that, tiktok is dominating young audience attention spans which takes away from youtube video views. same with shorts and reels.

His theme tune and intro becoming a meme was the best thing to come from Ali-A

I don’t watch Ali, but I do watch his wife’s channel! She’s super wholesome, and I absolutely love her content. She also streams on twitch. Although I do actually like Ali as a person, because when I see him on her channel, he’s just so loving towards her and funny; they really seem to bring the best out of each other. I don’t really like watching any of his videos though, because it really just seems like he’s putting on a front there, as opposed to when he’s with Clare (his wife)
She’s also so insanely genuine, and her fan base is honestly one of the best and most wholesome ones out there, which means that when he appears in her videos, we’re not expecting him to be this over-hyper clickbaity YouTuber, but the loving husband of our favorite content creator which I think makes it a lot easier for him to be more himself.

Although unfortunately, he’s the one who has created a channel in which he can’t be genuine anymore, and that’s pretty sad :(

I remember when my friends at school were all talking non stop about Ali-A and his clickbait and it turned into a giant meme almost instantly in my friend group

Haven't watched him since black ops 2. Sad to see everything that has happened. He was a skilled and enthusiastic player.

As a person who watched him during his early Cod days, I can confirm that he really did fall from grace

I honestly feel bad. Even though he was a clickbaiter and all, he was somebody who took the jokes lightly and even went along with them by making his intro the earraped version. In general I've never really disliked him, and this is something rather sad to see

15 million views a month is still insane. Yes, it’s not like it was at its peak, but no one can stay on top for ever.

Yeah you're totally right: back in the black ops 2 days I was 11-12 years old and I loved all of his videos and was a constant viewer, I kept watching in like 2014-2015 when he did videos about minecraft and newer cod games that I still played like advanced warfare and ghosts. After like black ops 3 I got really tired about all the jetpacks and stopped playing cod and in turn stopped watching ali-a. I am now 20 years old and I despise him for his clickbait and misleading content, he used to have my respect for being so active in the cod scene but all that respect is gone nowadays of course.

I remember watching his Minecraft videos way back in 2012
That positive attitude came off as really wholesome and growth orientated
Man has he changed

I love how SunnyV2's videos have gotten so serious that he uses Mozart's requiem as music which he wrote while on his death bed.

I'm not gonna lie, I actually had forgotten he existed. But I will never forget the sound of his intro. Will go down in meme history. 😂

back in 2018 when i was 10/11 years old and i used to watch him, i didn't care about the thumbnails, i just watched him for the personality in the video. as a kid coming from pokemon youtube he felt in line with those youtubers and made his videos easy to watch
