This guy from Vice has been giving the best view of things happening in the Ukraine.  His reports have put the BBC, Sky, CNN, and any other news channel to shame.  Check out the "russian roulette" videos on Vice.  While the big news organisations were outside buildings wondering what was happening, he was inside interviewing people.

A Ukrainian so-called "journalist, " who can only report what Kyiv permits, got kidnapped and only beaten. Is he complaining or being grateful?

Russian citizens? Yes you right! Im russian by the blood but by my passport Im ukrainian! WTF! Im from that city! Where do you see Russians? Where? Can you point me? Maybe Im blind but there is no Russians, there is more people like me! By the way, Simon Ostrovsky acted stupidly, he said by the accent they sounded like a Russian citizens, but when the other journalist asked him if he saw any evidence of Russian presence he was talking about when we was kidnapped, but in py opinion the question sended the next message: while you were at the Slovyansk did you saw any evidence of Russian presence? So, the whole time he were there... But he started to talk about kidnapping! Is it for showing people that he was kidnapped and everyone thinked that the citizens that are in there are the terrorists? I think that what is this interview supposed to be. So here starts a politic of double standarts: when Maidan started belorussian journalist was kidnapped too, but then it was considered democracy. So east started to use same method and what do we see now? Our city and whole west is considered terrorists!
