World Press Freedom Day is May 3rd. To highlight the importance of this day, the U.S. Department of State will host a Google+ Hangout to address the importance of freedom of speech and focus attention on censorship and suppression of all forms of media. 

Join former national security editor of The Washington Post, managing editor of the Los Angeles Times, and investigations editor at The New York Times, Doug Frantz as he discusses freedom of press and information with journalists NGO experts who focus on press freedom.

Thank you for the discussion.  As a writer I am experiencing the backlash of extremists who are affiliated with National Alliance and Sovereign Citizen gang members  E-mail hacking, mail theft and sabotage of phone lines.  Neighborhood west of the University of San Diego, 92110.
