Dees outplayed the Pies for most of the game... If not for their efficiency inside the forward 50 they would've buried the Pies.

As a Collingwood fan we deserved to lose, we were clearly outplayed and should have lost by a much bigger margin… BUT that being said, that was a free kick all day long to Titch out of that final centre bounce against Petracca for holding 😂😂

Can you imagine the scenes on both sides if they actually paid that and it resulted in a goal. We’ve pulled off some amazing jail escapes the past two seasons but this would’ve been something else. 3 goals in the final 90 seconds after kicking just 7 all day.

Melbourne should have won that by a lot more, their bad kicking almost cost them the game. Maybe something they should look into during the bye.

Even though Collingwood lost we have no excuse of playing this bad. Melbourne did play better than us in the midfield but I believe that we will get them next time. Melbourne were super inaccurate in this game and was the only reason why we came close, but kicking is apart of this game so that is no excuse for Melbourne to make, ‘if Melbourne kicked straighter they would’ve won by 7 goals’ Melbourne should kick straight, their shouldn’t be an if, but I hope that Collingwood will learn after this game. We didn’t deserve to win this game after how we played, but I hope that this won’t get them down. Gg Melbourne.

I've got a message to Will Hoskin Elliot - The next time a player with the ball tries to charge through you like a freight train, go the bump. You know it's impossible to tackle a freight train, so next time, brace yourself and send him into the southern stand. Don't be afraid to bump. Even if you get weeks. Send him flying, and if you get a suspension, whatever, take a break with Jordan in Bali, and come back refreshed. If the other player is too stupid to protect himself, I'm not gonna cry for him. Don't let the AFL compromise your safety. Send that player to kingdom come. It will inspire the team.

A message for what's his name, Johnson - if you're not fit to play, I don't know if you had the flu or whatever, but if you're not up to it, give your spot to someone else. If you struggle with this concept, go have a word to presti. With Elliot & ginnivan already out, it's on your shoulders to kick the goals. If you're not up to it, speak up.

A message to the other small forward, Hill - If you're gonna fly for marks you better well hold on to it, because if you don't, we're one short at ground level. This is not rocket science. Stay down and let Brodes crash the pack. He will make your job so much more fun.

And a message for the AFL - was the ball sponsor logo nice and shiny today? Did you like the goalkicking? Sacrificing the quality of football for the sake of a sponsor. Sickening. Is Gil still hanging around. What does it take for this guy to leave already.

Here's another question - what does it take for the Dees to pull their finger out? The answer I guess is a visit from Neil Daniher. Nothing less will do. I mean where was this form last week. It's an indictment on that club, and before anyone else says it - yes I'm salty.

That last little play from the bounce Crisp and Daicos where off their players and allowed three on Mitchell when he had that run through, it cost us. We failed defensively yesterday and that's something to work on. Credit to Melbourne if they had kicked effectively they would of buried us !
