I don’t even have carpets, that’s how entertaining this channel is.

Thank you for making these videos, nobody has ever done this and the information is invaluable for anyone that might be looking to purchase one of these units. Kudos to you for taking the time and taking the guess work out of these machines' capabilities. Hats off and I look forward to more of your videos.

I watched your last video on carpet cleaners and the Bissell Pro Heat 2X Revolution Pet Pros performance was the best. I purchased it and its been one of the best investments. I've cleaned my entire houses even family members houses and they were very impressed. So thank you for your comprehensive unbiased videos, I always come back to watch them.

The shout out to the commercial ones for repair and parts availability was really nice to see. Folks aught to not be throwing stuff in the landfill all the time. Great review!

I always used the rug doctor in the past and it took some work. I finally got the chance to rent a Bissell and it was such a difference in one pass. Could not believe it. I will never rent the rug doctor again!

Take a spray bottle to pretreat your carpet with warm water to the carpet cleaner. After spraying onto your carpet wait 2-3 minutes then use your carpet cleaner water only to clean the carpet. This is how professionals will do the carpet cleaning for your carpets at home

I had a very successful janitorial business for 16 yrs (got bored of it). I used the dry carpet method which is a 20-inch brush and a carpet pad in the middle the brush scrubs and the pad deposits the solution and picks it back up.
one thing I learned is to use a solution that leaves no residue that will attract dirt (I left some in a lid and let it dry out and felt what was left) My solution ratio was the solution and 1 gallon of clear ammonia (you have to get used to the smell or use less, it WILL go away after about an hour) but ammonia is an excellent cleaner, leaves no residue and dries quickly

Thanks so much for taking the time to review all of these and all the video editing. I especially appreciate that you update your buyer's guide.

I bought a well used Bissell Clean Machine. Round type with reservoir surrounding the waste tank. It didn't pump at all. After watching a YT video that demonstrated removing the cover, I easily pushed a spade connector back on the pump terminal. Good to Go!

I don't know if I'm more thankful, or surprised, that there is a video our here like this. THANKYOU

My house has been a rental for at least 12 years and the carpets had not been replaced even before it became a rental so what should have been blue carpets are mostly getting grey/brown. I rented a rug doctor over a year ago and it barely got the dirt up (it was a slightly different style than these but still a rug doctor and the best they had available at Bunnings) and it was very, very hard work to get what dirt up that I did. My best friend got a Bissell revolution pet and she did my entrance hall which was easily the grossest part of the house, with just hot water it positively ate the dirt, for a 3m2 area it took two clean water tanks and 3 dirty to get the carpet almost ✨ sparkling ✨. I was amazed at just how much dirt came up and how easy it was to use. I will never rent a carpet cleaner again, instead I bought a Bissell revolution pet of my own, it hasn't gotten here yet but I am so hyped!

I just discovered your channel and I am weirdly hooked. I wish I had found you before I bought my last carpet cleaner, but alas. Thank you for doing such great comparisons!

I found your videos very helpful.
Now as for the pets that leave the stains. Dont waste 100-200 on a flap for your security door.
As you have to cut the diamond shapes and fly screen out to fit such a door, . just cut the diamonds etc and silicone on a piece of plastic. Add some magnets if you like, youve just saved 100-200 bucks. Works just as well. If you dont have flies, just cut out a hole.

The double brushroll setups are belt driven usually by a flat or cogged belt. The Hoover Spinscrub is air driven by a turbine motor. I'll always take the Big Green any day.

Great video and comparison. thanks for your effort. I like the tried and true Rug Doctor for a simple reason - larger water tanks. While I have used them to clean houses, I typically rent to clean cars. Most people would never ride in their car again is they saw the amount of dirt that comes out of their seats. They would never believe their carpets. I will go through 20 tank refills easily and often as much as 30. So a smaller tank cleaner could double that easily.
For those who think it is silly, the typical clean, well-cared-for used car I have purchased and cleaned has somewhere around 70, 000 to 100, 000 miles on it. I can expect the first 7 tanks to look like the Mississippi River. On the clear vacuum handheld attachments, it looks like you are sucking coffee out of the seats usually. These are cars that the seller thinks is clean.

Finally someone who suggests good carpet cleaners for longer shag carpets. 🙌🏻

One important feature is, self propelled, motor assisted or not. The mid side makes it heavier to move on Wet Long Hair Carpets, but some models have the wheel with motor assistance.
