My made English trailer for the cult cyberpunk anime movie "Ghost in the Shell" (1995) directed by Mamoru Oshii. Based on the manga by Shirow Masamune.

The movie that inspired The Matrix movies, proved to be the wise granddaddy of the cyberpunk genre, and that eventually birthed the jaw-dropping Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence movie.  Both movies stun every person I show them to from everyday people to brilliant academics.  Few things are as visionary for their time as GITS.  The TV series that this spawned called Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is also stunning and a joy to watch.

This is one of the best anime films of all time right up there with Akira although its a shame they never finished the Akira movie fully since it only covers 1/3rd of the manga.
