I have been playing with Mint 22 to see if it's a platform I can replace Windows with. I'll need a fan control program. I see CoolerControl may be compatible with Mint. If so, may be a neat addition to your script. Thanks for your efforts.

Why when in Update Manager app, I click refresh then find me some update, I make update.

Then click again update and find more, always I must do it twice and wait to search.

Hello chris I'm facing a problem changing brightness while dual booting almost any linux distro on my Asus Tuff A17 gaming edition . I can change the value on the brightness control but it does nothing is there a way you can help me fix it ? I tried alot of internet/youtube fixes all of them failed its been a month for now i still have this issue

Beware the Mint 22 if you have NTFS partitions. They will NOT work after migration to Mint 22. Bug is reported to be linked to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS which Mint is based on (and its Linux Kernel). I had to roll back on 21.3 and will wait for an official fix.

oh man i have the same problem with the zip extraction and i blamed the zip file now i know it's just a bug with this new edition.
