4:14 Nessuno Mi Puó Giudicare would have been such an iconic entry

Cenere would have been such a unique entry this year

Fun fact: Fiorella Mannoia wouldn't have been on the plane to Kyiv anyway. It was revealed that she would've refused as well. Basically, next one in line was the majestic Vietato Morire.

The 2016 winning song is still so good. 😍

The Italian song that would have fitted Eurovision best in 2022 was "Ciao ciao" by La Rappresentante di Lista. In the months following Sanremo it was one of the most played songs on the radio and would just have fit the spirit of the ESC like a glove.

You missed 1972, where Sanremo was used as the song selection to Eurovision

I’m shocked you got that footage of 2016. I couldn’t find it lmao

Wouldn't 2011 count? "Follia d'amore" did win the young artist category, the runner up was "Fuoco e cenere"

We lost two great rock n roll songs in 1961 and 1966. And Could have had a great song instead of a boring ballad this year. A pity Stadio did not want to go in ESC

caterina caselli would’ve easily won in 66, same for celentano in 61

Gene Pitney had too much energy.
I honestly not a fan of this 2-artists 2-songs each selections.
Kinda weird that Anna Oxa was close.
Nek would also be a banger in Vienna.
2021 I almost think as an alternative anthem to Call Me By Your Name.
2022 Who finished 2nd?
Elisa: Maybe it's you?
Fabrizio: It's you!

Er... I think you'll find Landet Camelot by Lecia Jonsson was in the Danish National Final!

Just to be more precise: the decision between the two singers was mainly linked to the record company/label that believed more in the contest. 99% of the times the label of the better known artists imposed itself (yeah the competition for RC in the early ages of Sanremo was MORE BRUTAL than know 😂)
