Keentools Facetracker makes it pretty easy to make a digital bald head/cap. Since it’s in Blender as well you could use any head shape you find online or sculpt your own.

This looks great. Just wanted to give feedback on subscription - there’s no way I’d buy a subscription for any addon, unfortunately. That line of thinking is already very unfortunate- and definitely a fire that must be put out for addons for blender.
I will keep an eye out in case there’s a one time purchase option ever available. I would be willing to pay up to 200-300 dollars for this. But not a subscription…
But, great work on the addon and I wish you the best of success in it.

Impressive work! Considering how challenging face tracking in 3D can be, it's amazing that with just a simple clip, you can achieve accurate 3D face animation with precise lip-syncing. It would be fantastic if you could expand this tool for face mocap data, especially for indie studios. This could open up new revenue streams, making it a must-have tool in the market. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for the development of this tool. It works surprisingly well for an out of the box solution and has a lot of controls for refining and getting a look you desire. So far I’ve had less than ideal results with expressions. Maybe it is worth exploring what camera settings or other tips That help with planned shots. I would love to design a shot with the intent to track it with this. What pushes it to the fidelity of motion capture if it indeed is as strong as your geo tracker is

On a basic level attaching objects or textures to the tracked head is very powerful but I’m curious..

Once you have a solid track and 3d motion you like would there be a way to extract that data for use in say after effects? A ‘lockdown to ae’ equivalent button (from the plugin) for this tracker would be the next level. Going from 2d to 3d is awesome but feels like it’s scratching the surface of what can be achieved with modern vfx tools like this.

If an artist is building a 2d solve for beauty cleanup, how could this be used? Importing an fbx of the head and camera for the track? How do we as artists connect the 3d and 2d for our needs?

How can you use your own 3d head mesh in facial tracker? Can you provide guidelines or just make a video about that, you mentioned in the previous video that you can only use your own 3d model only if it’s unwrapped with the face builder topology how can that be done or what did you mean by

Hi, is it possible to use or convert the generated head meshes blendshapes to AR-kit blendshapes? Is that an option in the add on? What I’m wondering is if I can use the addon to drive the facial animation of other characters. Thanks!
