You’ve obviously never heard the song, “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie.”

Well, he is mostly relating things about South Jersey. I've lived 64 years in North Jersey and I've never said what exit of the Turnpike I live near. We call it Taylor Ham, not pork roll, because the first and best was/is made by the Taylor company. Yes, every town has many pizzerias. My small town of 15, 000 and one square mile has five pizzerias. And almost every town has at least one diner, you can thank Greek immigrants for that. Finally, in North Jersey when we go to the beach we say we're going "Down the shore." I think that's a uniquely North Jersey term.

Fun Fact that a lot of people didn’t know, but Batman is from New Jersey. Gotham City is actually located where Bridgeton is in South Jersey

What Evan meant was just as the British Monopoly board mentions progressively more posh places/streets in London, the properties on the US Monopoly board (many of which are named after states) show streets in Atlantic City, NJ that get progressively closer to the central part of the Boardwalk. So just as Mayfair and Pall Mall are the "blue properties" as some of the poshest places in London, Boardwalk and Park Place (near the Boardwalk, where some notable hotel/casino are located) are the "blue properties".

pizza is known as (pizza) pie around the USA, not just New Jersey. It came from when the Italians first brought pizza over they didnt know what to call it so the first place to sell it called it a pie because that was the closest thing or something. i could be way off but thats what ive heard

I’m from New Jersey, and a lot of the county names come from Britain, such as Middlesex, Essex, Sussex, Gloucester and Union). Even my hometown was named after an Englishman, Sir George Carteret (he was the royal governor of New Jersey and North Carolina). Plus New Jersey was named after the isle of Jersey in the English Channel.

I'm from NY, went to Uni (see what I did for ya there, ya Bloke?) and I can fully attest to how bad Pennsylvania drivers are. They drive

South Jersey raised here. I have most of my best childhood memories growing up there from going to Mott’s Creek to go crabbing with my parents and seven siblings we would rent a little place stay three days to a week depending on the time of year and head home with no less than 6-8 bushels of fresh crab we caught ourselves.other trips were to pick it yourself farms where you had berry fields apple orchards fruits and veggies abundant saving my folks a fortune I think New Jersey had the best tasting Corn on the cob! As I got older I realized though my folks took us on many outings crabbing, fishing, picking in the fields was fun but I realized my dad was a genius he had his own “Harvesting crew”..lol..brilliant dad,

His videos about the differences in education like High school and college in US and UK are ones to check out. "Capitalism!"

Wish I had seen this video a year ago. I was born and raised in Camden, and yes, we were dropped off at the Cherry Hill Mall or just skipped school, hopped a bus, and went to the Mall.

Only been through there once the thing that was the weirdest thing to me was full service gas stations. Every other state I've been in abandoned that in like the 1970's. I was confused and shot the guy like 5 bucks on top, which apparently isn't even expected. That threw me off

Oh I love Evan Edinger’s channel! He’s so punny and he always has such interesting topics he covers, especially about the differences between the US and UK. He even sometimes has guests in his videos to discuss the differences between places! Glad you enjoyed his video! That’s neat that you’re watching about a place named after the place where you are. I’ve been to New Jersey when I was a kid (I’m from Oklahoma....a long way away). I enjoyed my visit. The people were friendly and I thought it was pretty. And since I love Italian food I was definitely in heaven while there!! It’s not a big state so it was easy to travel and visit a lot more of it in a short amount of time than other states I’ve visited, though even then it can feel like you are having to miss out from seeing, visiting, or doing something in the state because it, like all states, has sooo much!

Great video!

This is a comedy bit, Beesley. I'm from New Jersey, and a lot of the stuff this guys says is not my experience. I hate pork roll, eggs, and cheese. I don't shop at Wawa. I don't describe where i live relative to exits on the Turnpike or Parkway. I don't hate drivers from Pennsylvania, or make fun of people from other parts of the state. One thing I agree on. We do have great pizza in New Jersey, and it IS pizza pie. :)

This guy is insane he calls subs hoagies, he calls Italian ice water ice, and he calls sprinkles jimmies or something
