If anyone noticed in the first movie there’s news reports of a spaceship taking off into space and towards the end theres newspaper reports of it missing, and now with the franchise continuing I think the next movie is gonna be about the missing spaceship landing and be the remake of original and the one with mark walbherg.

I don't think it should be shorter, I like how it takes its time with establishing the world and characters.

I agree that there should have been more of Proximus. Actually, Wes Ball has about 30-40 minutes of deleted scenes, and if he makes an extended cut where those scenes mainly are in the second half of the movie and focuses on Proximus Ceasar and his kingdom, that would be perfect.

I also loved the references to the original 1968 film, including the baby doll saying mama, the other humans being from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and some of the soundtracks being reused The Hunt was used during the chase scene with the Apes and Feral Humans, and the original film's opening title score being reused during the bridge scene.
