Caesar led a solid trilogy building this world, now we follow a new ape named Noa, on a quest to get his family back. Here's my review for KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES!

The Caesar trilogy is proof that reboots can be awesome when the teams behind them care about things like story and character instead of relying on the brand name to sell it and going with a lazy check box mentality with the script.

I love how Caesar is basically now like “Ape Jesus”

Dawn is easily one of the best movies I've ever seen, I don't remember another movie walking into that surprised me with how great it is, as much as Dawn did

The Caesar trilogy, as you call it, is one of the best trilogies of movies ever, especially Dawn. I was skeptical of this new film (and planned trilogy) but hey, when has Hollywood ever left anything good alone?

I like how Jeremy always asks "Have you seen it? What did you think about it?" when the movie isn't even out yet. 😆

Watching Jeremy's outtakes at the end would be worth admission 😂

To be fair, the last 3 Apes movies had extremely important human characters that elevated those films. Woody Harrelson, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Kerri Russel, Kodi Smit-McPhee, James Franco, all played vital roles, it's just more about how they are written, not whether we need them in these films or not. In my opinion, it's a necessary perspective considering it's our world the Apes have taken control of.

The “What a Wonderful Day” scene was one of the deepest parts in the entire movie. Proximus using Caesar’s words which were originally meant for good and twisting them into something very bad. It also shows how religion can quickly become a cult if it is misinterpreted and people are misled.

Really shocked you didn’t particularly like this. I genuinely loved it. Was never bored because I cared about the characters so much that I enjoyed seeing them just talk.
This feels like the farthest thing from an obligatory sequel that I’ve seen in a long time.

Jeremy never ceases to amaze me with his tastes in videogames, I swear. Specifically his taste in JRPGs.

The post credits Jeremy scene for this video is golden.

It’s always nice to get a “History of the World Part 1” 15 Commandments reference.

So many people talk about Andy Serkis when they talk about how great the last trilogy was, and rightfully so. But not enough people bring up Matt Reeves. Alot do for sure, but he's still underrated for my money. What he brought to those last two movies was phenomenal. His entire filmography is pretty spotless. Great looking blockbusters with actual heart and story. Those are harder to come by these days.

My favorite part of the movie is when Proximus Caesar says:

*”Noa, are you familiar with the legend of Harambe?”*

That Lunar Silver Star Story and Eternal Blue comp cut deep.
