Honest Advice: The course is more hard than you think. As written there is no prerequisites, But you need to have a very good knowledge of analog circuits and digital as well as analog communication.

Honestly the professor don't explain the course in deep. She assume we know everything and she just revise the syllabus. The way of teaching is worst. The speed is fast. She uses high technical terms and abbreviations. Most of the student in this course are 2nd year B tech Student applied for internship. They don't have that much of advanced pre knowledge about communication.

Also the assignments are on a another level. Tricky questions. How do you expect to solve them. When you won't understand anything.

And FYI the course is only about the architecture of SDR and no about how to use it practically.
