Jarrad - I just thought u should know this because you always freak out when you finish 4th lol. You get UCL football if you finish in the top 4 NO MATTER WHAT. If a PL team wins the Europa League, they automatically get UCL football the following season. If they are outside the top 4, then they are just added on to the 4 teams who already made it in. Five English teams can qualify for the Champions League. For Europa, it's 5th place + the FA Cup winners (if they are not in the top 4. If the winners are in the top 4 then their place goes to the 6th place team). The winners of the Carabao Cup qualify for Conference League, unless they are inside the top 6, however it can happen where a team in 6th still gets UECL if a team outside the top 6 wins the FA Cup. For example if Newcastle finish 10th but win the FA Cup, and Man Utd finish 6th but win the EFL Cup (and don't win the Europa League), then Newcastle plays Europa League next season, while United drop down to Conference League. It's very complicated. The only way you can drop out of a Champions League place is if two PL teams win the UCL and UEL but both teams are outside the top 4. Hopefully this helped 😅

You'd have only lost the european place if both the Champions League AND Europa League had been won by a team out of the top 4. The Conference League winner only gets into the Europa League (Unless they've already finished top 4)
