Leon is not wrong. When it comes to nobility, the ancestors are the ones that did great things and made their names known. Unless the descendants actually to something to keep that legacy going, all they do is ruin their family’s image and live off of the authority, wealth, and reputation that their ancestors earned. And to make things worse, there are those that arrogantly believe that they’re better than everyone else just because they’re nobility.

I loved this speech and seeing the students gritting their teeth just showed that they knew he was right, I still find it rich that one of them said that they will kill Leo and everyone he loves, Dude he is going to save you don't threaten him, he may be a Shit head but at least he didn't beat up someone because he was told to

I mean, Leon is kind of right. No matter how great one's ancestor may be, especially that of nobility, if their descendants use those past achievements to act all spoiled, arrogant, and ignorant of their faults, then they truly are making their ancestors look bad by tainting their names with such obnoxious, and inappropriate behavior. You tell them Leon!

This is one of those animes that I didnt really give it a chance because I saw "dating sim" in the title and thought it would be boring. But after watching a few clips on each of the crunchyroll channels, I got hooked and started to get excited for the next episode to come out. Hopefully, a season 2 comes out as well

What's funny to me about this whole incident is that Leon in reality is in fact the closest representation to ANY of their ancestors compared to the student body.

1. He took risk and sailed to find fortune despite the odds stacked against him.
2. He managed his newly found wealth competently and secured his commoner family to enable them a peaceful life.
3. He continues to successfully maneouvre around political intrigue and the explotiation of his peers. Suprising even himself.
4. What he doesn't have in power or skill, he makes up in wit and cunning which in turn projects an even bigger grandeur, but I may be overhyping him on this one.

If Leon had been dropped in the past, he would've fitted like a glove with the founding fathers of the kingdom. His House may even be a rival for the throne despite oppostion.

Leon is right for calling those noble brats out. They've been talking about their family legacy to be cocky and making excuses about Angie saving herself. All those great things their ancestors did are about fade away by their rotten descendants. If your ancestors were that great, don't ruin it.
