Yo

he made a video with LTT (Linus Tech Tips) together where they are talking about all the errors he did in the video.
If you want to watch it go ahead.

Pro tip: Want a screwdriver? Just keep buying Swiss Army Knives until you find one with a Phillips head

List of errors:
0:05 Battlefield 5
0:32 Thermal Paste applicator is redundant
0:33 Allen Wrench is far from required and often included in any parts that may require one
0:35 Those are zip ties / cable ties, not tweezers
0:35 Tweezers aren't required but cable ties are appreciated
0:37 Just buy a screwdriver, if you have a $2000 PC budget and no screwdriver, you frankly have messed up priorities
0:41 That isn't anti-static its just a rubber bracelet as it has no ground wire to redirect the static electricity
0:44 Unless you are a fragile robot, the bracelet is not meant to protect you
0:46 No they aren't
2:15 Absolutely DEMOLISHED the PSU box
2:24 Don't put the motherboard in first, put together the CPU, Motherboard, GPU, RAM, and M.2 Storage (if applicable) and perform a test boot to ensure your essential components are functional and to make things easier down the line
2:30 ;)
2:39 Built in Wi-Fi shouldn't be the deciding factor in your motherboard purchase, you should look for compatibility with your preferred components above all
2:47 Its an IO shield, not a "brace"
2:51 DON'T "hammer it in", just apply pressure until all sides click into place, also don't install it upside down (he didn't make this mistake but I have)
3:04 Once again don't install the motherboard at this stage
3:24 2666 MHz isn't "pretty fast" for ddr4
3:38 In this footage, the stick is backwards. However, he later corrects this off camera in a quick edit
3:43 Its more of a click and its due to the tabs on the side locking back into place in the grooves on the side of the stick
3:50 Dual channel support
4:10 the M.2 SSD comes with a spacer that he fails to use, screwing it directly into the motherboard somehow
4:28 Its not overclocked, its still at factory settings
4:28 there's no WAY this guy can figure out how to overclock and if he did, this PC would crumble
4:44 you should pick the top slot anyways
5:23 the PSU won't short circuit from just touching your case, the rubber pads are probably for extra friction and to avoid scratching the case or PSU
5:28 installing the PSU with the fan facing inside the machine will suffocate it and hinder ideal air flow
5:47 the CPU should have been the FIRST thing you installed even before the motherboard was in the case
5:54 you cant install the radiator without fans with this pc case it makes things WAY harder later
6:08 they are long screws because you need the FANS, if you screw it in all the way without them, you will have ripped a hole inside of your radiator
6:20 Not every power supply will have a bag of cables, many PSUs aren't modular so the cables will be hardwired in the PSU
6:35 The cables should've been connected to the PSU before placing it in the case, thankfully this case is very spacious but most cases will make it hard to reach in to plug in your modular cables
6:48 Completely glosses over all other cable connections, including the ones for the electronics in the case which plug into the motherboard (power, restart, lights, etc.)
6:57 FINALLY the CPU
7:12 DON'T throw that plastic cover away! If your motherboard is faulty (something he would know if he did a test boot) the manufacturer may require you to return it WITH the CPU cover attached
7:15 Its called a CPU socket
7:22 I refuse to believe that's a real thing
7:35 That isn't that crazy of a CPU to have, even in 2018, I don't know why he hyped it up like that
7:42 Once again, this guy doesn't overclock, not a chance
8:15 That amount probably is enough
8:26 oh dear
8:35 OH DEAR (remember, a pea-sized drop of thermal paste on the center of the CPU is enough, don't do this or you risk it overflowing onto the circuitry on the motherboard)
8:55 No cable management has been done and is closing up the case
9:05 Wire Jungle (remember this is not only cosmetically appealing but good cable management can also help with air flow among other things)
9:08 No way in hell (but even if you did, it shouldn't have been a surprise as you should've done a test boot WAY earlier on)
9:27 Both games he uses as "benchmarks" are easy to run even for extremely subpar machines
10:27 YIKES don't get your hopes up for that one
10:45 No, no you don't

2:30 "Screw with confidence, but don't screw too hard" is by far the best advice in the video, and it's not even about PCs.

Two years later and I sometimes still wonder what he was planning on using that Allen wrench for.

7:37 - "YEEEHH, WE GOT ONE" *Holds up a very common commercially available product that definitely wasn't under any kind of restricted market supply and would be close to the minimum performance CPU you'd expect to find in a 2000 USD pre-pandemic build*

That is a nice anti-static wrist strap! I mean, it is even wireless!!
