All-Pro Football 2K8 Retrospective

APF 2K8 was a fantastic football game that lacked an NFL license or franchise mode, leading to poor sales and no plans for a sequel. However, the on the field football gameplay of 2K8 has never been topped. You won't find another football video game that plays as good as All-Pro Football 2K8.

2K should just make an All-Pro 2020 and add simple skin template uploads for jerseys, logos, faces etc. The community will do the rest in _very_ short order.

Does nobody else remember that 2K5 not only blew anything else out of the water with gameplay and official ESPN licenced halftime shows with Chris Berman and the gang. But it only clocked in at $19.99 AT LAUNCH?

I'll still never forget the first time I got an INT in 2K8. It was on the sideline and as my DB was running it back I noticed that all of my teammates on the sideline reacted realistically. They started celebrating right after the pick and started cheering me on as I was returning it. Jumping up and down, waving towels, etc.
This game would be near perfection with a Franchise Mode.

Give me XFL 2K with 8 teams. Team builder from NBA, customizable franchise mode with ability to plug in as many as 32 teams and change everything to match the NFL offseason. Also don't forget to add the cribs and first person view option again. This will be money

I bought this game in 2009, played it only a few times and forgot about it. Just a few days ago I started playing it again. I realized how advanced it is for its time and now I'm hooked!

It’s an ABSOLUTE CRIME that Madden has rested on their exclusive license for so many years. EA has to do better, but I doubt they will.
