Soundscapes of Norrköping (13)

This is a soundscape recorded by happy chance a bit outside the museum itself. What can be heard here is the construction of new apartment buildings, but the most prominent sound if the dumping of large amounts of gravel that will form the basis of this new area. All around Sweden there is a lot of construction work going on since there are more people than there are available apartments and houses, especially in the larger towns to whom most young adults move. When the construction is finished in the area then this sound won't be connected to this place at all, which makes it an interesting soundscape to record.
