The piece was written to my class mates at Malmö Academy of Music 1979-1980: Peter Axell, Sylvia Bojsten, Göran Lindskog and Ann-Helen Lindskog. Together with some composer friends I formed a composer group, Futim 80 (Föreningen Unga Tonsättare i Malmö) in 1980 and we organized about six concert in the eighties, with premieres only. The premiere of my string quartet took place at Malmö Konsthall on 14th of September in 1980 as part of the first Futim concert!
