3 types of cat litter

The wood turns to sawdust instead of clumping. The way it is handled is different from the others. You use a sifting litterbox and let the sawdust sift to the bottom tray.

Great vid. I really enjoyed it 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I recommend the wood pellets. We just recently switched over from expensive name brand clay litter that you pay an arm & a leg for, to wood pellets. It’s way better much much cheaper & no cat pee odours. I honestly regretting not switching over sooner because we have 5 adult cats 🐈‍⬛ 4 litter boxes. Can you imagine what I was paying monthly for name brand clay litter at the grocery stores. I’m never using clay litter again.

Been using two sifter boxes with pellets for about a year. I just replaced one sifter box with a larger plain open litter box. I put a lot more pellets in it with a small amount of clay. My cat now buries her poop! It seems like she likes the feel of the digging. I use a big metal spoon to clean out the sawdust and poop, then stir it all around with the scoop, and occasionally add baking soda. The only downside is the litter genie has to be emptied more often because the sawdust fills it up. Oh, and now I have to FIND the poop, where before it was just sitting there on top, but I'm OK with that because the "new poop odor" is greatly reduced.

I prefer wood for my single cat. I change it about once every 2 weeks and clean the poop out maybe three times in that period. It doesn’t smell unless it is fully saturated.

i prefer the wood one. its super absorbing nature hardened the waste. can just pick the shit and trow it away. plus its 100x better due to dust free and the powder goin down so easy to separate the powder and remaining pellet. once it turn to powder it releases the pine scent. truly minimize the effort to do cleaning every morning

Well when a cat poops it’s not able to cover its poops as the wood pellets are bigger, my cat hated wood pellets and started to pee in closets, I went back to clumping litter and it’s just a breeze. The people who prefer wood pellets basically want to save money

My only problem with the wood pellet is that the poop smelled so bad!!! I would pick it up right away but still, the whole house would get smelly and my Cat would not cover it with the wood pellet so I had to switch to the clumping ones. I don't. like them either!!! I wish with pine Pellets the poop wouldn't smell as bad. SO I just bought a few things tonight to see if I can Mix the clumping ones with the wood pellet ones!! Lets see if that works.

Please use non clumbing cat litter for kittens, kittens have been known to eat cat litter and it will harden inside them.

The best of both worlds is the okocat soft wood litter. Easy to sift, not tracking, and not clay

What is the tray you are using?
Wood pellets are great at asorbtion is biodegradable and may use in gardens. Wood pellets may cost less than tofu.
Stop using clay.

i transition to tofu cat litter as its odor control is superior to bentonite.

We use wood pellets, we take the poop out when he pooos and twice a week we change the actual pellets… our cat doesn’t go outside though 🤷‍♂️
