Actually, most of the D-Day landings went smooth. It was only a few areas like Utah Beach which saw a lot of resistance due to bad timing and luck.

I’m not a big political person but i think we should put the people (president, mayor, prime minister, etc) who disagree with something into a room and let them settle it and not make young teenagers risk their lives and most likely die.

Disturbing fact about the first meme, it's known that Stalin's right hand and one of the USSR generals personally killed 7000 or so of all those soldiers himself, he would stay up at late hours on the night and use most of the day to carry on the deed, he even had someone else going with him who carried a spare pistol so when the one he was using eventually overheat because of the constant use, he wouldn't have to waste too much time on getting another one, and if you're wondering, no, Stalin didn't task him with doing this as to prove loyalty or anything of the sorts, he volunteered for all of this, that man was probably one of the worst psychopaths to exist on human history and the fact that he existed and did all of this on history's equivalent of yesterday just makes everything worse on my opinion

That's hilarious USSR wanting to join NATO, it was designed to block USSR expansion.

I believe there was a quote that went something like 'the British provided the [military] intelligence, the US provided the steel and the USSR provided the blood." No country was dominant in the Allied war effort; it took a multilateral approach to win how they did

Polish matematicians craced to enigma code the allies didn't

Fun fact: 80 percent of the casualties of Germany came from the eastern front. The heaviest fightings took place on that front and most of the resources were deployed and lost on the eastern front. Even the western allies admitted that the USSR was the most important element of the victory over Germany. So yes, the Soviets were the most important and the allies were less important. Still, that doesn't mean that the western allies didn't do anything but please do not underestimate the amount of effort the Soviets put into the war.
