Aikman has as much patience for the Cowboys screwing around now as he did when Barry Switzer was clowning up his sideline back in the day

Aikman never minces his words. That's what made him a great leader. If you play great he'll give you all the praise. If not he will call you out on site.

Aikman gives no F's and calls everything as he sees it. He's awesome in the booth.

Glad to see Jerry getting completely raked over the coals. He has deserved this for 25 years. Love to hear Aikman calling it like it is.

A quarterback of the level of Troy Aikman will not lie when it comes to route running. For him to publicly say this means it must be really bad there in Dallas.

This is why Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin have such a special relationship because Troy knew Michael will be exactly where he needed him to be. He never had to worry about Michael running a wrong route. In turn, Michael knew the ball will be placed properly by Troy; all he needed to do was be there.

I'm a Cowboys fan. This is the reason why I love Troy Aikman and Joe Buck on Fox. Troy would always criticize the Cowboys.

I love that Troy has no filter and tells it like it is. My QB!!! They definitely need him and Irv in that Cowboys locker room to develop leadership and discipline…both are non-existent on that team right now.

That's 3 Super Bowl Rings giving you his opinion. Everyone should listen.

I want dak to take notes and be a leader like Troy was, this is what a leader does.

You don’t think the guy, who flew his helicopter into the middle of practice, doesn’t just casually waltz into the locker room when ever he wants?

Troy does a spot on The Ticket every week. He never glosses over anything. 96.7, The Ticket, used to be the Cowboys flagship station. Jerruh would come on every week like he does with 105.3, The Fan, where he blasted those radio guys. The folks at The Ticket were absolutely brutal with Jones. They cut him no slack at all. Sometimes he would even take calls from listeners and just get hammered. He got pi$$ed and moved everything to The Fan. I don't imagine he takes phone calls anymore though. If he leaves The Fan, he's running out of radio stations for the Cowboys. Lol! Make no mistake, the majority of the D-FW Metroplex have been out on Jerruh for a while now.

Jerry should let Troy be GM he mentioned a few years back he would like to try that job for the Cowboys.

This is why Aikman has been such a fantastic announcer for so long. He calls it like he sees it, hes not trying to be the players friend. Brady is bland because he doesnt want to offend the players.

Isn't that a coaching issue? Not running good routes seems so fundamental. o

Aikman has been saying the same about his former team for years.

Jerry created these divas so be it. He's happy as long as he got the richest franchise

Fans have always been this way, but it’s refreshing to see announcers and the media not pulling their punches with Jerry Jones. Troy Aikman saying this says A LOT given his reputation. That means the routes are wrong, lazy, and leadership is completely lacking. When players stop listening to leadership, that’s normally when any other team would start firing coaches and the GM…

Nothing will change until jerry jones is fired from the GM position

If Dak can't lead that conversation, it's a whole separate reason why his contract is too high
