Mini is better than ever.
Best interior in years, in design, quality of materials, premium feeling, it is higher quality than anything in its class. The round shaped screen is gorgeous and it has the best UI.(also it has no plastic edge) Fast and smooth. Previous gens with the round plastic panel but a rectangle shaped screen looked odd. This is how it was supposed to be from the start. The fabric materials on the dash and door are fantastic (the competitors offer cheap plastic) the little straps on the passenger dash and on the sterring wheel are nice touches. The vents are integrated. Its a design marvel. Also the lights inside and out are great and it doesnt feel cheap. Every ambient light projects from behind something, a lot of times it doesnt just project flood light, it does interesting designs. Everything is quality. You wanna see cheaply made bad interiors? Look at any mercedes-benz nowadays, or any of the chinese cars, even tho they are more epxensive a lot of the times.

Why did they remove everything inside that makes it look like a Mini? I have a 2019 convertible and I love my car, but I don’t like this one.

I drove the new electric mini on Saturday - it was in JCW trim in grey with a red roof. It was great fun - really nice build quality and fast, too. The internal electric car sounds really add to the experience and the Go-kart mode makes it feel very sporty.

I love how they designed this car to its modern roots. I love the simplicity and the materials used. No leather : vegan friendly and the trim levels are great. I ordered on for 2025.

Had minis all my life, I love the evolution of these cars, yeah some of the old cars were great fun, but it’s moving with the times like it or hate it, cars are evolving…

I like the update and new tech but I’ll keep my little 2005 Mini R53 S. Still fun to drive every day and I can work on it. No one is getting in my backseat just the way I planed it.

Couldn’t disagree with you more. I was a Mini salesman for six years, and the year over year slow transformation of this car is wonderful. If you took the badging off most cars on the road today you wouldn’t know what brand it was . When you see a Mini, you know it’s a mini ! Unfortunately I now live in a country that has a 100% import tax, or I would own one in a heartbeat.

Good looking machine, but I'm a little disappointed they eliminated the sliding sunroof. Pano-roofs are fine, but I hope they have a convertible waiting in the wings.
