So variant of this is used by PM & President of India... from AW101 to Mi17 we really lost it somewhere we should have used Mi38 with best of the protection equipment in the world

Yes Russia I'll give you that Its a very nice looking Mi8 helicopter on the inside. Yes it has a lovely business jet interior that has been designed very well. But that thing is so outdated inside the cockpit and on the outside it is like polishing a turd and the cockpit doesn't match the modernisation of the cabin. Its all looks, design, and luxuary decor but I bet that thing whines so much on the inside with the gyro, the shaft, and all the moving parts, and the hydraulics/avionics din. Nobody can hear the in flight entertainment even with earphones in and nobody can sit there and have a decent conversation across the cabin. It probably shakes, rattles, and wobbles like a washing machine on a fast spin. I'll bet its as noisy and rattly as sitting with army troops in the back of a military Boeing CH46 Chinook.

It was a great military helicopter but for sure it feel like a lorry being given a make over and trying hard to pass as a VIP coach...but fail...don't compare this to any US or European helicopter.
