I chose natual carbon gloss for the diamond tek wheels for 2 of my bikes and inked satin rapid tek for my 3rd . BST are the best imo ; I save 49% weight loss on the 3rd bike, stock KTM vs BST .

Hello Sean, Thanks for asking the question. The reason is that the satin finish is part of a two-stage process, i.e. our wheels are always first finished in the regular high-grade protective gloss lacquer and then - in a very time consuming and labour-intensive task - have to be fully prepared/flatted by hand and re-masked in preparation for the satin being applied as a second and final coat.
