Fun fact: Notch wanted to add exploding arrows to the game, and since from what I have seen, mojang does not want anything to do with notch, according to them erasing his minecraft footprint. So they may never add exploding arrows.

I think they just forgot since they have been making 6 updates in 4 years for 2 entirely separate code bases (so technically 12 updates in 4 years) would kinda just make you forget a few things people don’t really care about either
