As someone who’s only seen the anime and haven’t read the manga, I thought it was Awesome . Which in my opinion tells me that the manga just has be fucking amazing because animation it was good and the CGI well maybe it’s that bezerk 2016 screwed my perception of CGI but I thought it was pretty good it wasn’t over done and used pretty much only when it needed to be

Well they did plan a 12 ep and not 24 ep season so makes sense. I'm sure they'll stick to a 24 ep season from now on and from there we'll see a huge difference in animation.

I thought the animation was fine. I usually hate CGI but theirs was high quality and they did very few scenes in CGI.

I mean they didn’t expect it to be that popular but when it did animators had to spend all the budget on the first selection which made the second selection have bad animation most likely next season will have better animation cuz the profit

The manga sales are still high despite that. It's rank #3 even with that kind of anime whereas Oshi no Ko got #1 since it gets amazing adaptation. It really showed how high quality Blue Lock manga is.

Welp, I guess we can't expect every studio to pull off top-tier animations like Mappa.

We've had so many visually pleasing animes this era that people kind of got spoiled.

It's good. We're just used to seeing something great.

As someone who never read the Blue Lock manga, and is only on s1e6 of Blue Lock, i see zero issues with the animation

That’s what I never understood, why did this studio get the green light even thought this is the most trending manga in Japan. The manga is beautifully drawn so I don’t get why they wouldn’t put everything into animating it

The anime really couldn’t highlight the emotion and the weight of some scenes. I hope they can fix that in the second season, especially with the U-20 match
