So what's the inside scoop on Know Me patterns? Have they started appearing at your Joann yet? Let me know!

100% agree on excluding smaller sizes. I’m plus size, but I’ve had a few very small friends who struggled more than I did to find clothes. They also got more snarky comments about their weight. Small and/or very thin people need clothes and sewing patterns too.

I love your floral jacket with the burgundy top underneath.

💯% agree with you & will go a step further to buy the pattern. Reason being….to keep it simple….I’m 5’4” & somewhat athletically built so it’s been REALLY difficult to find A-cups that fit over & around me (under the boob area) so
I definitely want to encourage them to keep up with the A-cup sizes! Thank you for pointing this out.
I want to be part of the “rising tide”!!!!
However the phrase goes 😊

Thank you pulling these patterns together for us. The blazer top combination you are wearing in the video is stunning.

Thank you, Sara! Totally agree with and am also curious about the questions you have about the Know Me line! 💗

Great pattern options Sara! There were a couple I would like to get too! I was really surprised to hear about the sizing for Know Me patterns! And I agree about the pricing too! Some sewists are really focused on saving $$. Thanks for sharing!

OMG the McCall's pullover is so eighties. Comfy and cozy but not sure if I can wear this style again -- I was a teen in the eighties. Love that track suit with the racing stripe! The MimiG coat -- beautiful. I live in FL so it's hard for me to sew a lot of outerwear since it is infrequently worn. Thanks for the video. Love your content.

Always love your take on patterns as we seem to share the same taste in style. Have you seen the Pauline Alice "Romero trousers"? They're a great "sailor" style and come with a shorts option as well. Also, Alice & Co has the "Copenhagen" coat which has great lines, similar to several that saw on the street in Paris a couple of weeks ago.

Hello Sarah. I was in Joann's on 10-8-22. I saw the new M G patterns. They were on a display rack in the middle aisle. I saw them when I was walking down the aisle. I did not see a discounted price on the rack.

I LOVE that coat pattern too! It’s so gorgeous. And I totally get your point about the bust cup sizing. I always think that when they have a B/C cup!

I had seen the I AM releases and thought those sailor jeans were adorable. I don't tuck my tops in so I wouldn't make them but really cute! I like the Hathor version where they had a sherpa lining - that was cool. I love that the Simplicity pattern comes in individual cup sizes - I wish more patterns were like that. Such a bummer that the Know Me pattern excludes your size. It's not fun when that happens. It will be interesting to see if these patterns are included in the Big 4 sales at Joann. I almost wonder if the fact that Mimi is highlighting the designers as "indie" is their way to compete with indie patterns and not have to put them on sale because you don't have to print and tape together or send off for printing?? I'll be watching! Thanks for the roundup Sara!

"A rising tide lifts all boobs." Yes, yes it does lol. It must be frustrating for slim people that the inclusivity trend is only going in one direction because that's not inclusivity.
