Which is the best modern muscle car? Adam, Rutledge and Tanner drag race down the LA river. Rutledge begins in the 1970 Dodge Challenger, Adam in the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 and Tanner in the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS. For the return leg Rutledge chose the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8. Adam chose the 2012 Ford Mustang GT. Tanner chose the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS.

Seriously, the noise that came out of the 70 Challenger sounded more like a freaking turbine spooling than a car motor. Like a lion roaring or something.

Adam cant even launch the Mustang, classic or modern,
Rutledge knew what he was doing in the classic Challenger but lost it in the modern,
and then then there's Tanner the only one that could drive both generations of the Camaro.

People don't understand that unlike the UK version of picking which car is better, US version just shows you how fun the cars can be and not seem biased by picking a winner. That is why their show is just them messing with the cars like a normal person would if he ever got any of those toys.

Tecnically the Challenger, Camaro and Mustang arent muscle cars, theyre pony cars. The Charger, Chevelle and the Torino are musclecars.
