25 Week Pregnancy Update
I am almost nearing my second trimester and thought it would be the perfect time to do an update at least once this pregnancy. Ha. Pregnancies really go fast once you hit your second trimester and I’m so excited and blessed to be heading into my third trimester very soon. This baby is so active and always makes our doctor laugh whenever we try to catch the heartbeat. Andrey and I are trying to plan on how to introduce this new baby to Emorett once they are here. I’m thinking to buy a baby doll so he can practice holding and being gentle with baby. Thank you for joining us on this wild adventure!

when my friend was having her next child she asked us that when we come to visit, please do what we always do and go straight to her child and not the new baby. We and everyone did what they asked and although her child was older than Em it was actually him that took the initiative to tell us about the new baby and introduce her to us. We've always greeted him first even with the following children and he is extremely close to his siblings even though he's now married and long left the family home. We understand how important it is to maintain your friendships with little ones and not let them even think they are put aside for the new family member. You have so many examples around you both that I think all is going to be so smooth because your always thinking about how best to do things and have a natural instinct both of you

I found your page through your pregnancy videos with Em, and I cannot even tell you how many times I watched your birthing story and postpartum videos before I had my daughter to try and help put myself at ease with my first pregnancy. I’m currently 36 weeks with our second, who is due exactly a week after our oldest’s first birthday 😂 this pregnancy is sooo similar but so different to my first, especially as far as physical pains go. Thank you for sharing your pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting journey with all of us, and giving us a resource to learn and educate ourselves, especially with every person being different, and within every person, every pregnancy is different ❤️

Our girls are 17 months apart and although it was the hardest thing we've ever done, they are now 9 and 10 and it's the most rewarding season currently in our lives, we're expecting our third baby in just a few weeks, and now we have built-in babysitters. ❤️

Had the same bleeding issue when I was around the 8 week mark with my second child. My first pregnancy end in miscarriage at 18 weeks. Then I had my daughter with no problems and my second pregnancy was a little ruff but I had my little man. I’m happy for you guys and can’t wait to see little baby number 2!

I'm so happy for you guys! It really is a blessing to have kids close in age. Speaking from personal experience - we've had 3 kids in 4 years. It's incredibly hard, but it's such a rewarding experience. And I feel you when you say that you are not "in the moment" with this pregnancy, I guess it's the same with all the mamas with 2 or more children. Wish you all the best and God bless you all!
