It's a medium size Ammonite. Its surface has been badly damaged by wave action and there appear to be no internal structure preserved. They aren't rare - this is going to attract no interest from museums or serious collectors. It would have been better left there for visitors and their kids to enjoy.
It isn't that hard to find smaller specimens in much better condition in this area if you want a souvenir.

Great find, but you were supposed to dig the dirt from around the fossil not beat the fossil like the fossil stole something LOL and on top of that you're not supposed to knock part of the fossil off. Congratulations on your find though it's really 😎
