What I learned from this video was Add all the take offs, then subtract from the total length, and that gives you the pup length. Awesome video! 💯

I have been welding down here in mexico and i have been doing water pipeline for a pecan grove. I did all the fittings and valve bodies above ground and the majority of underground was PVC and i just made it so the flanges were able to bolt together. I came to a price of $40 USD per weld on 8 inch. And i cut them a little slack on the smaller pipe at $35 USD. Im running a miller bobcat 250 amp with a gasoline motor. Fuel here is 5 dollers a gallon.and the same for diesel. Now I am not certified but i have to guarentee my work. I used 6011 and 7018 on most everything but got some 8010 and that made my life a lot easier because it was 5/32 cause all i could get here was 1/8th inch rod. I two holed and leveled everything and it bolted together real nice. But compared to the USA i know i am cheap but the cost of living is cheaper here and the client bought lots of beer and food. All in all I am happy and i am surre he was also. Whats do yall have for advise about what i just said?

5:11 Shouldn't you take 1-1/2" off to account for the lower bleed ring gasket? And at the end (7:57) shouldn't you have mentioned you subtract the number you found (accounting for the second 1/4" gasket) from 36" to get that vertical pup length?
