The commonest thing is when the foreskin is not retracting, because of the act there can be a lot of tear. The commonest thing that we come across is the frenular tear. There is a small skin that is attaching there and in forced conditions, the frenular tears away . When that tear there can be a lot of bleeding because there are small vessels that are passing through this frenum. So usually you need to consult a surgeon and get the artery stitched or suture it off. Second thing is there can be small scratch mars or cuts that can be the skin when there is forceful retraction of preputial skin. These things are seen just after marriage. Another thing is of the opening of the preputial skin is a little bit smaller, then it goes back and gets stuck. If the retracted skin is not pulled in front, then it works like a strangulation. So it gets constricted. So that is called as paraphymosis and that is a medical emergency, so unless you pull back the skin in front, that can actually rice the blood supply. This causes a lot of pain and swelling and you need to consult a doctor immediately. Third thing is it can happen because or oral, there can be a lot of nail marks and teeth marks. So this is one of the trauma that can happen and lastly is there can be a fracture. So when it is hard and excessive movements or wrong movements, there can be a fracture. It can cause a lot of pain, swelling, and it needs an emergency treatment by andrologist or a urologist. So these are the different kind of injures that can happen. So bleeding and other severe swelling and other constriction requires immediate medical intervention, whereas small scratches heal by itself. Or you need to take antibiotic, if teeth marks are deep it is better consult a doctor again, because there can be focus of infection, because oral cavity has a lot of bacteria and it can give you a lot of infection. Even a TT injection is indicated if you have not got immunized properly because the teeth marks are quite deep.
