2 minutes into this video I can CLEARLY TELL "MIC A" has a "warmer sound" but that is ONLY because, I think, between 100hz-500hz response is higher... it also is the frequency range that is more susceptible to "wind" etc... BLINDLY? I think "MIC A" is the DJI??? Even if I am WRONG going NO FURTHER... you can easily use a Graphic EQ and correct such issues in post! Great video so far... i'm curious to see how i did.... 2:04 i am un-pausing now... WOAH! You must have done some EQ sorcery haha... LOVE IT BRO! See? EQ FTW! NOT THE MIC/BRAND!!!!

The Neewer is my preferred and what I have ordered. Should be here soon. It is a great mic for a great price. Great video the DJI is an amazing mic too

Neewer sounds surprisingly good for the price. But is the big difference that the DJI Mic connects directly to your Pocket 3 (and also to an iPhone) which is a huge selling point and deserves a mention. Even so, good audio comparison: you have an excellent speaking voice for it!

Absolutely the kind of review I was looking for, excellent breakdown and information. I also like that you're using the mics while walking around outside, few little outside noise (even with cars going on) which even with editting would be hard to make sound good if the mics themselves weren't good which also shows exactly what I was looking for before purchase too! all you need is compression, EQ, de-esser, dynamic eq for wind

I have something which looks identical to Neewer only is labeled "Fulaim X5". I can't comment on DJI only what I read in reviews. Your DJI was not released when I bought mine. The feature like noise suppression works great on it. Great comparison. The major disadvantage with those small rechargeable wireless systems is if you turn your back and block the pathway of the signal you might face drop of the signal. So it all depends on the application and location.

I have the Neewer CM28 and love it. I have been debating getting the DJI mini though. I was able to guess currently as after using the Newer, the DJI has a bit of something I don't know the technical term for. Like a subtle fullness or something like that lol but realistically for regular content creators, the Neewer is beyond perfect for the price. Compared to options years ago tech keeps getting better.

Great video! Simple comparisons are what we want. I bought the cm28 7 months ago and never looked back. I bought it with plans to return it if it didn't work out and go with DJI. I tested it on my dji rc controller, then played it through my JBL charge 5, and it sounded excellent (great bass in the recording as well). For $100, you simply can't lose.
