I just saw this video yesterday. I would never have thought to change out the rubber deck to skateboard grip. Did it today and it's given personalization to an otherwise bland scooter. Boy it adds a whole new level of grip. Much more in-tune with the deck, carving is next level and there's now no slip when wet. Love your vids. Cheers RK9!

Just properly inflate your tires before each ride, don’t hit huge bumps/jumps and you’ll never get a flat

*Great **Latest.Bike** Scooter ! I have had it for almost 2 years now and it is still working great so far! Brake and acceleration are really smooth!*

Nice short video there and informative! .. you can also go tubeless tyres if you want to stay pneumatic.. just remember the slime and take a pump with you when out riding. Only other upgrade to note that alot of people overlook is the steering damper kit.. that dials in the handling massively giving total control at high speeds with no wheel wobble or train tracking so to speak! with a scooter like the mantis pro capable of 35-40mph.. dampers are pretty much a must :)

I bought some grip tape and end mounted mirrors for the handlebars on Amazon and then checked YT for more ideas. It seems I'm in the right frame of mind. Never considered solid or honey tires, but now it seems pretty genius.

As a new Eagle One owner this channel has been so useful! Thanks so much for these great videos

I find it absolutely amazing how you managed to take what amounts to about 2 paragraphs of text and stretch it out to nearly 12 minutes of video with so much goddamn bloat. Feeding the algorithm much?

Just wanted to throw this info here 😉 22.2mm bars are 7/8". Huge selection of 7/8 bars 😁

The upgrades that I have done to my scoot, is to change the handle bar to the Vsett 10+ folding handlebar and the grips to the ones found on the Varla Eagle One and the Zero 10x. Since my scoot is mainly black I'm going for a stealth black bomber look.

Great video 👌

May I add to use graded bolts and blue lock tight to most of your hardware for strength also re tap all threads

So I'm about to buy an e scooter. For downtown riding o work and simply because I love any form of speed. I think a must have is foldable motorcycle mirrors mounted a little in front of the bar. As well as makimg some sort of turn signal.

Rugged folding clamp was really great improvement for my Zero10X. I just use ergonomic bicycle handlebar grips and they feel great. But the steering damper from aliexpress was a disappointment.
Now I am waiting for a twist throttle for my Emove Cruiser.

can you make a video showing how to put on the grip tape if it's now precut?

Do you think the solid tire affects the Varla motors? Or range?

Could you do a video on upgrading and customizing a BirdFlex scooter?

You have installed the inner part of the gasket-like parts on the front and back of the front wheel nut incorrectly. Attention to those who will take it as an example.

Really informative and well put together! Nice job RK9. 😎

This might sound weird but the grips I have gone for is a hand wrap done the in the same way as a samurai swords grip style which is a hand wrap. And it looks great, works great and gives it a personal touch that haven’t seen anywhere else.
