Biggest tips. Carry a antidote & bandage everywhere, if there are 2 of you leave them on the boat so whoever isn’t downed get go back and revive!!! Also don’t bother going to far in the beginner raft. I died 100x to learn this.

Wife and I have played coop quite a bit since it's inception and we have a great time. Yes it was and is still buggy but it is a lot better than it was when they first introduced it. My wife hardly gets booted anymore and the issues with her not being able to access stuff I gather or build, is very rare now. I do miss the label maker but I think it may have been the source of many of these problems. I know there's a mod to bring it back but I don't want to take a chance of it causing issues. Still love and play this game every week, if you haven't tried coop, I suggest you give it a go. Would recommend playing w/ a friend on TS, Vent, etc though. Randoms will suck, trust me.

Thank you Rob. I was thinking it was it would be funny to do co op and I'm totally rethinking that now. I know you're not pooping on the game so I can trust you. There are issues with co op and mp in Subsistence that are similar but on the scale of these you mention. ;)

how do i check the map on multiplayer because when i check the map it only shows it for my single game on console

The most ridiculous online co-op bug that made me stop playing is that there’s a chance with ur world that if you kill the bosses you will not unlock the plane parts no matter what you do. Yea I don’t feel like playing anymore wasted me and my friends time killing two bosses just to realize it didn’t unlock good thing we didn’t waste anymore time killing the third one.

Can you have multiple saves for multiplayer?

Hey, I'm a year late but if my co op partner saves on our raft with a sleeping bag, then exits the game, I sail to a new place, will they spawn near me or at the last location? In other words, if I play a coop online game and my friend loads in will they be near me? Thanks!

I started this game without looking into it very much and i had a shark shit flip me for twenty minutes on that raft 😂😂 I eventually reloaded but that first hit And the panic to get out of the water in time was something else.

Know of any reason all of a sudden the person connecting to the host suffers lag from thing moving like a raft being carried or even sailing, or throwing an item, or even animals like sharks moving? Tried everything I can think of. I ply on a decent pc even tried lower settings to laptop still no use. Host sees none of this and it happened after day 22 so we already had a decent raft just happened out of no where anyone have an suggestions or experience with this. It was a point where he could move the raft and I’d be on the other side of the island and it drop my fps from 100 to 7..

Its stupid bc you can play with only one friend. At least 3 would be nice and normal. I hope they will fix that. I love this game.

Do you know if multiplayer is still unstable? How would you make a backup copy to protect what we accomplished? Playing with my granddaughter with console & PC using private sessions requiring new join logins each time host reconnects. We have experienced long load times, disconnects and items not rendering. We save often.
